How to Play
Desktop Controls:
- Left/Right Arrow: Move block left or right
- Up Arrow: Rotate block clockwise
- Down Arrow: Soft drop (move down faster)
- Space: Hard drop (instantly drop to bottom)
- P or Escape: Pause/resume game
Mobile Controls:
- Use the on-screen buttons below the game
- Left/Right arrows to move
- Rotate button to spin the block
- Drop button to hard drop
Game Rules:
- Stack falling blocks to create complete horizontal lines
- Complete lines disappear and earn you points
- Clear multiple lines at once for bonus points (1 line = 100, 2 = 300, 3 = 500, 4 = 800)
- Level increases every 10 lines cleared
- Blocks fall faster as you level up
- Game ends when blocks reach the top
- The ghost piece shows where your block will land
About Block Drop
Block Drop is a classic falling-block puzzle game that challenges your spatial awareness and quick thinking. Arrange the seven different block shapes (I, O, T, S, Z, J, and L pieces) to create complete horizontal lines.
The game starts slow but speeds up as you clear more lines and level up. Strategic placement is key— use the ghost piece to preview where blocks will land, and master the hard drop to quickly place pieces exactly where you want them.
Clear multiple lines at once for massive point bonuses. A single line clear gives you 100 points, but clearing four lines at once (a "Tetris") awards a whopping 800 points!
This browser version features smooth controls, responsive gameplay, and saves your best score locally so you can always try to beat your personal record. Perfect for quick breaks or extended puzzle sessions!
