Block Fit
You are given three shapes at a time. Drag each one onto the 8 by 8 board. Shapes cannot be turned, so think about where each one fits before you drop it.
Fill every cell of a row or a column and it clears. Clear a row and a column with one shape and both go at once. Clear lines with back-to-back shapes to build a combo: each step in the combo multiplies the points for clearing.
When all three shapes are placed, three new ones appear. The game ends when none of the shapes you are holding fits anywhere on the board. Shapes with no room left are greyed out.
On a touch screen the shape floats above your finger so you can see where it lands. With a keyboard, press 1, 2 or 3 to pick up a shape, move it with the arrow keys and press Enter to place it, or Escape to put it back. Your best score is remembered on this device only.
