HOW TO PLAY

Sliding Puzzle

Choose 3×3 (tiles 1–8) or 4×4 (tiles 1–15). Arrange the numbers from left to right, top to bottom, with the empty space at the bottom right. Every shuffle is solvable.

Controls

  • Tap a tile beside the empty space. Arrow keys slide a numbered tile in that direction.
  • Use Tab to focus tiles, then Enter or Space to slide. P pauses or resumes.
  • The timer starts on your first move. Help, switching tabs, or leaving the window pauses play; resume when ready.
  • Fewer moves is better. Each board size keeps its own best. Shuffle starts a fresh puzzle.
